uSort Platform

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the uSort website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Digitex (“uSort,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using uSort, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. About uSort

uSort is a digital discovery platform that enables users to explore, review, and engage with businesses, services, and places. uSort provides listings, reviews, ratings, and community-driven content for informational purposes only.

uSort does not own, operate, endorse, or guarantee the businesses listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction), and
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

By using uSort, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be fully responsible for all activity under your account

uSort may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

4. User-Generated Content

Users may submit content such as reviews, ratings, replies, and other text (“User Content”).

4.1 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you submit. uSort does not verify the accuracy of User Content and does not endorse any opinions expressed.

4.2 License

By submitting content, you grant uSort a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, translate, moderate, and distribute such content as part of the Platform.

5. Reviews & Ratings

Reviews and ratings must:

  • Be based on first-hand personal experience
  • Be honest, respectful, and non-misleading

uSort does not edit reviews. Reviews may be visible, hidden, or deleted in accordance with platform policies.

Negative reviews alone are not grounds for removal.

6. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to post content that includes or promotes:

  • Bullying, harassment, threats, or intimidation
  • Sexual or explicit language or references
  • Racism, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Political opinions, messaging, or advocacy
  • Defamation, false allegations, or illegal claims
  • Personal or private information of any individual
  • Spam, advertisements, or promotional links
  • Conflicts of interest (self-reviews, employee reviews, competitor reviews)

Violation may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent suspension.

7. Media Uploads

At this time, photos, videos, or other media uploads are not permitted in reviews unless explicitly enabled by uSort in the future.

8. Business Listings

Business listings may be created by uSort, users, or business owners.

uSort:

  • Does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of listings
  • Reserves the right to update, verify, or remove listings

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their information once claimed or verified.

9. Business Owner Responses

Only verified business owners may publicly respond to reviews posted about their business on the Platform.

To be eligible to respond, a business owner must:

  • Successfully complete uSort’s verification process, and
  • Respond only on behalf of the business they own or officially represent.

Business owner responses must:

  • Be professional and respectful
  • Address the feedback without harassment or intimidation
  • Avoid disclosure of private or personal user information
  • Comply with all uSort policies and applicable laws

uSort reserves the right to:

  • Hide or remove any response that violates these Terms or platform policies
  • Restrict or revoke response privileges for verified business owners who repeatedly violate the rules

Verification does not guarantee immunity from moderation or enforcement actions.

Claiming or verifying a business does not grant ownership rights over reviews or ratings associated with the business.

10. Reporting & Moderation

All reviews include a Report function.

  • Any user or business owner may report content
  • Reporting does not guarantee removal
  • uSort retains sole discretion over moderation decisions

Abuse of reporting tools may result in restrictions.

11. AI & Automated Moderation

uSort may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to assist in detecting policy violations.

AI systems:

  • Support moderation
  • Do not make final enforcement decisions

Final decisions are made by human moderators.

12. Influencers & Sponsored Content

When enabled, influencers and creators must disclose any paid, gifted, or sponsored relationships.

Failure to disclose may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Loss of verification or influencer status
  • Account suspension

Separate Influencer Disclosure Policies may apply.

13. Privacy

uSort respects user privacy.

  • Private user data is not shared with businesses
  • Only public profile information is visible with reviews
  • Data handling is governed by uSort’s Privacy Policy

Legal disclosures may occur only if required by law.

14. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, logos, and software are owned by uSort or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.

15. Disclaimers

uSort is provided “as is” and “as available.”

uSort does not:

  • Guarantee the accuracy of reviews
  • Guarantee business quality or service outcomes
  • Mediate disputes between users and businesses

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, uSort shall not be liable for:

  • User-generated content
  • Business conduct or services
  • Losses resulting from reliance on reviews or listings

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless uSort from any claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your content
  • Your violation of these Terms

18. Termination

uSort may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.

19. Changes to Terms

uSort may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
